Let’s start with Location, Location, Location! Brentwood Boro is centrally located, in the South Hills. Just 15 minutes to downtown Pittsburgh, Oakland, Station Square, Southside, Waterfront, Kennywood, South Park, Bethel Park, anywhere is easy to get to from here!

Brentwood is a really unique borough, it’s a wonderful place to live. If you are looking to rent, or purchase your first home, or are looking for a great place to raise a family. The properties available range from one bedroom apartments, to duplexes, to houses of every shape and size.

The main street in Brentwood, is Brownsville Road. Wonderful for walking, running, and exercising your dog. The Brentwood Medical Center located on Brownsville Road begins the “Business District” of Brentwood, along with the Borough Building, Police and EMS, Brentwood Fire Department, State Farm, Keener Hardware, Brentwood Bank, B.C. Artman Real Estate, Kim’s Martial Arts, Rookies, Red’s Barber Shop, DiSalva’s Pizza, and Spartan Pharmacy. The main shopping area is, Brentwood Towne Square, which has a Giant Eagle, Post Office, Dollar Store, Hair Salon, GNC, and a host of other specialty shops.

Everything in Brentwood is within walking distance. There is also great bus services, (51 C) runs every 30 minutes, plus there is a (51L) limited express, which runs early morning and rush hour. All bus stops are right along Brownsville Road.

Brentwood School District consist of two grade schools, Elroy K-5, Moore K-5, Brentwood Middle School 6-8, and Brentwood High School 9-12, and in addition, there is St. Sylvester, Parochial School K-8.

The Brentwood Library is located at the entrance of Brentwood Park. The library has a lot of programs for toddlers, teens, seniors and everyone in between!

Brentwood Park has tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball fields, football stadium, track, soccer, outdoor hockey rink, and swimming pool! The civic center adjacent to the pool is available for rent and also hosts PALS preschool program. Brentwood Public Works maintains the park grounds, and all sporting areas. The public works are a dedicated crew, when the snow flies they make sure all roads, steps, and walkways, throughout the Borough of Brentwood, are salted and cleared.

The busiest day of the year in Brentwood is the 4th of July! The famous Brentwood parade! Just imagine owning a house right on Brownsville Road, and throwing your family, and friends a fabulous cookout while watching the parade go by.
