Squirrel Hill is known as a safe, commuter-friendly neighborhood. The area features walking access to parks, bars, coffee shops and more. Forbes and Murray Avenues feature a business district while Schenley Park and Frick Park present nature-related points of interest.
Squirrel Hill gives off a cultural feel but maybe most proud of their education standards. Aside from Carnegie Mellon University and Chatman University in the neighborhood, Squirrel Hill is known for having some of the highest-rated public school systems in the city.
